      • Provide outpatient hematology and medical oncology care at a community hospital and specialty outpatient center
      • Manage a patient volume of approximately patients daily with complex needs
      • Conduct consultations, treatment planning, and follow-ups for oncology patients
      • Participate in light call coverage, responding to calls within 1 hour via beeper only
      • Collaborate with a team of three established permanent hematology/oncology providers, plus RNs, PA/NP, and clinical staff
      • Use EMR system (ARIA) for all documentation and reporting
      • Support patient-centered, mission-driven care in a well-staffed, supportive environmentWhat You Need
        Required:
        
        • Valid VA medical license
        • Board certification or eligibility in hematology and oncology
        • Fellowship training in hematology/oncology
        • Experience working in outpatient clinical settings with complex patient populations
        • Ability to handle high-acuity cases with a multidisciplinary team
          Preferred:
          
          • Long-term commitment and driving distance candidates
          • Experience with complex cases and multidisciplinary care
          • Willingness to integrate into an established team and contribute to ongoing patient care effortsAbout the Assignment
